It is such a special experience that it is difficult to describe why we invite you to experience it!
Seeing the turtles lay their eggs is a unique experience and when it comes to the arrival it is even more because there are literally so many turtles that you can barely walk. Arrivals commonly occur at Ostional beach only 3 days a month based on tides and phase of the moon, however, the turtles themselves are the ones that decide, so the dates are unpredictable.
Turtles always lay their eggs on the same beach, which is also the same where they were born, which makes the experience even more special.
Depending on the time the guides, who will do everything possible to see turtles, will take them in case of arrival to the Ostional refuge or a fairly popular option is the Camaronal refuge where there are no arrivals, but you have good opportunities to see turtles in less quantity and even newborns

TRIP ITINERARY
Start: Pick up time
Both tours offer pick up from hotels around Samara town or Carrillo town. Camaronal is 20 minutes from Samara and Ostional 1 hour.
At the Refuge
Follow the instructions from tour guide and lets find the turtles, most of the times you can see the whole nesting process.
Snacks
After this lifetime experience the guide will provide you with cookies and drinks for you to enjoy
End: Back to your Hotel
Enjoy your ride back to hotel and make sure you got pictures to show family and friends.
