Set out from Playa Sámara or Puerto Carrillo aboard a sleek motorboat for our Dolphin Watching Tour along Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. As you glide over Samara Bay’s crystal waters, your licensed bilingual guide will help you spot spinner and bottlenose dolphins playing in their natural habitat. Afterwards, we’ll anchor in a protected cove for a guided snorkeling exploration of vibrant coral reefs—keep an eye out for parrotfish, pufferfish, and even sea turtles. Between activities, enjoy panoramic views of the Nicoya Peninsula and learn about local marine ecology from your expert guide. This 3½-hour excursion perfectly balances wildlife encounters with relaxed ocean time, leaving you with priceless memories of Costa Rica’s coastal wonders.

Departure is from your hotel in Sámara or Puerto Carrillo.
If you are arriving from another location, you’re welcome to meet us at our office. We’re located across the street from Roots Bakery, on Sámara’s main road.

Meet your guide at your hotel or the dock, receive a safety briefing and life jackets, then board the motorboat.
Cruise the bay in search of pods of dolphins; learn about their behaviors as they leap and surf alongside the boat.
Anchor in calm, inviting waters where you can choose to join a guided snorkel to explore coral gardens and reef fish, take a refreshing swim, or simply relax on deck and enjoy the snacks served on board.
Relax on deck as you cruise back to shore, disembark at the dock, and transfer back to your hotel.
We accept payment in Costa Rican colones (CRC) or US dollars (USD). You're welcome to pay in either currency – just let us know your preference in advance, if possible.

If our staff determines that weather conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for the tour, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Safety comes first.
Cancellation and prepayment policies may vary depending on the tour operator. Our policy is as follows: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the activity are eligible for a full refund. If you cancel between 36 and 48 hours before the activity, a 50% refund will be issued. Cancellations made less than 36 hours before the activity are non-refundable.
