I have lived in Sámara and organized tours here since 2014, so every tour on this page is one I know personally: the operators, the guides, the best time of day to go and what is worth your money. From a sunset catamaran on Sámara Bay to kayaking out to Isla Chora, horseback riding on the beach, turtle nesting in Ostional or a day trip to Palo Verde, I help you pick what fits your group, your budget and the dates you are here.

The dry season, from December to April, has the most sunshine and calm seas. The green season, from May to November, brings afternoon rain, fewer people and greener landscapes; most tours run all year, and I tell you which ones work best for your dates.
Many are, like the catamaran, the mangrove kayak and the horseback ride on the beach, but age limits depend on each tour. Tell me the ages of the kids and I will recommend the right options.
Reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, water, a swimsuit and a towel for ocean tours, closed shoes for hikes and some cash for tips. I send you a specific list when I confirm your tour.
