Departing around 2:30 PM, you’ll cruise along the coast as the sun begins to dip toward the horizon. If the tide and ocean conditions allow, there will be a chance to stop for a short snorkeling session in calm waters near the coast—an enjoyable way to spot some local marine life in its natural habitat.
As the day ends, witness the sky light up in warm tones of orange and pink during a picture-perfect Pacific sunset. A calm, memorable way to connect with nature and each other.
Departure is from your hotel in Sámara or Puerto Carrillo.
If you are arriving from another location, you’re welcome to meet us at our office. We’re located across the street from Roots Bakery, on Sámara’s main road.

We’ll pick you up directly from your hotel in Sámara or Puerto Carrillo and bring you to the dock, where your private family motorboat and friendly bilingual crew will be waiting to welcome you. Once aboard, settle in and enjoy the beginning of a relaxing cruise along Costa Rica’s stunning Pacific coastline.
As the boat cruises along the shore, you’ll stop in a calm, shallow bay where you’ll have the opportunity to snorkel—weather and sea conditions permitting.
Back on board, the journey continues along Guanacaste’s palm-lined coast. Take in the scenic beauty of the Nicoya Peninsula, keep an eye out for playful dolphins or seabirds, and enjoy fresh fruit, juice, and a couple of beers for the adults.
As the sun begins to set, the sky transforms into a canvas of brilliant colors—shades of orange, pink, and purple reflecting off the ocean. It’s the perfect time to relax, take photos, and share the moment with your loved ones in the golden light of the evening.
The return cruise offers a peaceful end to your tour, with soft music, ocean breezes, and the laid-back spirit of Pura Vida all around you. Once back at the dock, we’ll take you comfortably back to your hotel in Sámara or Puerto Carrillo—ending the experience with memories your family will treasure.
We accept payment in Costa Rican colones (CRC) or US dollars (USD). You're welcome to pay in either currency – just let us know your preference in advance, if possible.

If our staff determines that weather conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for the tour, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Safety comes first.
Cancellation and prepayment policies may vary depending on the tour operator. Our policy is as follows: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the activity are eligible for a full refund. If you cancel between 36 and 48 hours before the activity, a 50% refund will be issued. Cancellations made less than 36 hours before the activity are non-refundable.
