Delve into the heart of Guanacaste’s countryside on our Coffee Plantation & Cultural Immersion Tour, where authentic Costa Rican traditions come to life. After a scenic drive winding through sun-dappled hills and cattle pastures, you’ll arrive at a family-run coffee farm in Nandayure. Greeted with warm “¡Pura Vida!” hospitality, you’ll walk the plantation rows, learning how beans grow, are harvested, and roasted to perfection.
Next, step into the farm’s rustic kitchen for a hands-on tortilla-making class at a traditional wood-fired fogón—craft your own tortillas from masa, then enjoy them with freshly ladled “sopa de la casa.” Savor locally grown fruits and steaming cups of farm-to-cup coffee as you exchange stories with your hosts.
The adventure continues with a short hike to a hidden waterfall oasis—its cool cascade inviting you for a refreshing swim amid tropical foliage.
